We're a fast-paced NYC agency specializing in consumer public relations. Our clients range from Fortune 500 companies to premium consumer electronics brands and lifestyle products. We're seeking an experienced PR Account Executive who is an aggressive, driven "news junkie" and has a passion for PR. This position requires a smart, ambitious and responsible individual who is detail-oriented with excellent communication skills.
Responsibilities to include:
• Develop brand PR strategies and plans
• Research, gather and critically analyze client news
• Develop and execute PR strategies
• Secure qualified editorial placements in top-tier press media (print, broadcast, online)
• Develop newsworthy angles and segment ideas for pitching media
• Understanding of social media tactics and integration with PR strategies
• Reporting to supervisor and client with complete and accurate results
Minimum Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree
• 2+ years post-grad PR agency experience in Consumer Electronics, Information Technology, etc.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint
• Strong interest and understanding of new technologies
• Ability to organize and maintain all aspects of a client account
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
