The Ogilvy PR New York office seeks a Vice President to lead an account in the Healthcare Practice.
As a team leader, you will manage the day-to-day direction of programs, develop and oversee programs, and nurture client relationships. You will also participate in new business activities. The ideal candidate will be able to manage large sized accounts with input from senior leaders. He/she should have a solid experience in issues management, media strategy, government affairs/policy, project management, budgeting, and overall strong management skills. A solid candidate will: Manage large projects with enthusiasm and a team-building mindset Develop recommendations and implement strategic programs Manage account teams to ensure that client needs are met on time and on budget Play an active role in the development of junior-level staff by contributing expertise to training programs, mentoring, etc. Write client ready materials including, but not limited to, programs, presentations, client memos and media materials
A bachelor's degree is required with a concentration in journalism, communications, and/or marketing (preferred).
A minimum of 8-10 years of experience in public relations with significant agency experience working on Healthcare accounts.
