La Cense Beef is a leading online retailer of 100% all natural grass fed beef, which primarily sells direct to consumer from its 88,000-acre ranch in southwest Montana. The Marketing department is seeking candidates who are experienced in Social Media.
Will consider candidates interested in both full-time and part-time situations, as position will be self-sufficient without a staff reporting to it.
The company is located in mid-town Manhattan.
Key Responsibilities:
• Create a comprehensive social media strategy aimed at increasing company visibility and driving traffic to the company website -- delivering new customer order conversions at an acceptable CPA.
• Management/ownership of all approved social media programs.
• Strong focus on content creation.
• Establishment of quantitative business goals by social media program (i.e. number of new customers) and weekly reporting of performance against plan.
• Experimentation with new and alternative ways to leverage social media activities.
• Ongoing monitoring of trends in social media tools, trends and applications and translating new learnings into action for the Company.
• Measurement of the impact of social media on the company's overall marketing efforts.
Key Requirements:
• Experience blogging and participating in social networks and online communities (i.e. Facebook, Twitter), web TV, podcasting, wikis and social bookmarking sites, and translating that knowledge effective programs relevant to a Company's business.
• It is mandatory that candidates be able to demonstrate a proven track record of establishing quantitative business goals, weekly reporting of performance against goals, and positive results against plan.
• Knowledge of HTML.
• Strong writer who enjoys engaging in online conversations
• Passion for products and services that are focused on health and nutrition, animal welfare, and/or protecting the environment.
• Understanding of the importance of ongoing monitoring and response speed in social networks.
