Interns needed for merchandising and web site marketing assistance. We are looking for computer savvy, creative, organized and motivated interns to assist with projects including: research, social media marketing, data entry, analysis and organization. Multiple interns are sought for a minimum of 2-3 days a week, 5-8 hours a day. Reimbursement offered for commuting to/from work.
Responsibilities may include tasks from the following, among others:
· Contribute to digital marketing efforts by assisting with creation and maintenance of social media pages such as Facebook, YouTube, Kaboodle, StyleHive, Squidoo, Flickr, etc.
· Research keywords, trends, tools, digital marketing and advertising opportunities
· Review and compile lists of blogs, communities and e-magazines that reach Simplicity’s target audience and/or contain mentions of Simplicity Creative Group’s products
· Data entry, including entering essential product info into Excel spreadsheets
· Assist with compiling and summarizing website and email analytics
· Assist with monitoring of pay-per-click campaigns on services such as Google AdWords and Bing.
· Assist with merchandising research library updates and maintenance
· Retrieve product specification from database system and compile the data into excel spreadsheets
Our ideal intern candidates will possess:
· Strong writing and communication skills
· Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Excel
· Attention to detail
· Interest in merchandising and digital marketing
· Familiarity with major social media websites
