Digital Media Marketing Specialist (Midtown)


We are seeking an Digital Media Marketing Specialist who is an expert in the field of SEO/SEM, Social Media marketing and email marketing who can design and implement digital media marketing strategies and programs for our company and its web properties. This position will have a profound impact on the future of our company at a defining moment in our evolution. This person will play a central role in driving customer acquisition, revenue growth, and profitability. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience managing large scale pay-per-click campaign and be familiar with the latest tools and techniques to improve ad relevance, score, and position. Candidate should be familiar with blogs, linking strategies, and long-tail keyword web marketing strategies.

Core Responsibilities:


• Expert in SEO Optimization, Analytics and managing web site campaigns – including website analysis, keyword analysis, SEO copywriting, ad writing, and an expert knowledge of search engine guidelines. Knowledge of Long Tail keyword searches and strategies for capturing such searches. Expected to produce weekly, monthly, quarterly and yearly ROI reports. Implement multiple strategies to optimize organic rankings (architectural optimization, keywords, meta tags, link-building strategies, site tags, site maps).

• Manage AdWords and PPC campaigns – Monitor, track and report on paid search metrics, including detailed trend analysis. Experience analyzing and applying response data to enhance campaign results, improve relevance, and manage spend. The existing Pay-Per-Click budget is nearly $1,000,000 and optimization of this campaign to improve click through rates, minimize click costs and improve ad position is paramount.

• Social Media Marketing – understanding and experience in marketing products to consumers via social media environments (Facebook, Twitter, blogs, YouTube, Linked In) via networking, advertising and PR.

• Ecommerce Marketing – experienced in setting up and maintaining ecommerce websites and capturing relevant traffic via ecommerce platforms such as Froogle, BizRate, Amazon, and other shopping sites.

• Develop reports and identify trends, issues and opportunities to improve online traffic, sales and service, site performance and the overall user experience through the analysis of web and other digital metrics.

• Conduct competitive analysis and provide strategies, tactics and tools necessary to win


Job Requirements:
• College Graduate required
• 5+ years in online marketing/SEO field - preferably selling products or services to businesses
• The ability to think strategically and work both autonomously and within a group setting.
• Strong computing skills
• Knowledge of HTML
• Experience with PPC, especially Google Adwords, MSN AdCenter, and Yahoo.
• Knowledge of social media marketing
• Knowledge of WordPress and MovableType blogging platforms
