Affiliate Sales Manager
The Affiliate Sales Manager will be responsible for sourcing and retaining high value super affiliate partners that will drive qualified customers to moneyaisle.com. The Affiliate Sales Manager will negotiate deals with partners and analyze the ROI. The Manager will work in conjunction with external and internal resources to coordinate online acquisition performance, and ensure delivery of targeted goals. Manager will help develop and execute programs to maximize sales at an acceptable profitability level. The Affiliate Sales Manager will also evaluate efficiency of existing affiliate partners and develop initiatives to drive increased volume and value. The successful candidate will be a self-starting, motivated, and persuasive marketer willing to make a significant contribution to acquisition channels. The ideal candidate will have experience working in affiliate marketing at a large consumer Web site or online agency and will leverage their relationships with high-quality affiliate partners.
Specific Responsibilities:
Source, identify and aggressively recruit new affiliates
Own specific affiliate channel activities, including performance against monthly and quarterly targets.
Execute, measure & optimize affiliate marketing tactics at the campaign/creative/audience level.
Establish, maintain and grow relationships with affiliates and affiliate networks.
Meet and exceed monthly channel targets and where necessary change tactics and approaches to ensure results.
Effectively coordinate with other team members to manage the budget to maximize return from all resources.
Utilize inside and outside resources (tools) to effectively manage spend and efficiency.
Coordinate the strategy, creative, messaging and deployment of:
oBanners, buttons, text links, copy, media, and offer mix by partner.
Ensure that rapid testing and learning are executed within the channel to promote incremental growth and critical breakthroughs.
Constant vigilance in program evaluation to gauge program performance and provide recommendations for enhancements or discontinuation.
Requirements:
BA/BS; Marketing or Communications preferred.
2+ yrs experience in affiliate marketing a must. Candidate must have ability to leverage existing relationships with affiliates and affiliate networks.
Proficient in the use of MS-Office, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
Planned and disciplined
Strong interpersonal skills, high energy, and enthusiasm.
Detail oriented and precise, self-motivated and able to work independently.
Excellent work ethic, team player, must be dedicated, driven and able to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
