Robert Verdi, Inc is a leading creative services company that specializes in Home Décor, Celebrity Styling & Event Planning, is seeking a Social Media Intern to help with day-to-day management of social media communities and increase our social media presence.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:
- Utilize blogs, Twitter, Facebook, Tumblr, Hootsuite & other Web 2.0 technologies to boos brand awareness
- Manage and create Facebook and Twitter posts/content and responses to encourage member engagement and increase fans and followers
- Create and maintain a monthly conversation / content editorial calendar
- Maintain key relationships with the online community.
- Monitor and engage on various social media platforms
- Use measurement tools, like Spredfast and Hootsuite, to provide metrics and find new ways to improve on those metrics.
- Conducting social media research on the latest tools and applications in
digital media.
- Build a social media profile analysis of key competitors including what platforms they use, how they participate along with key performance metrics
Skills and Competencies:
- Ability to take initiative and work independently with little supervision at times
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Passionate and knowledgeable about establishing a positive social media presence
- Excellent attention to detail, able to prioritize tasks and manage time
- Exceptional with Mac platforms, Microsoft Office, Daylite, Adobe Photoshop / InDesign
- Ability to communicate in a clear and concise manner; excellent interpersonal skills
This is an unpaid, full time internship- school credit is highly preferred. Candidates must be available to work a minimum of 4 full days (9am -- 6pm) weekly.
We are looking for someone to start immediately and stay on with us through the fall semester.
