Internship Description
Sports Journeys, Inc. is seeking a non-paid marketing intern (bonus may be earned for excellent work) to work remotely for ~3-6 months. Our company markets golf programs to major corporations, women's trade groups and business schools.
Job Responsibilities Include:
• Managing existing social media profiles to assist with the marketing of our programs and services
• Identifying new social media opportunities to promote both our programs and a new book on golf, women and business
• Identifying (and getting contact information for) new business targets at identified companies, associations, etc.
• Assistance in managing contracted events/programs on-site
Job Requirements Include:
• Must have extensive knowledge of and experience with Facebook and Twitter as well as other social networking platforms.
• Must have a basic knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Power Point
• Excellent writing/verbal communications skills; You may be interacting with potential and existing clients
• Must be willing to do "whatever it takes" research to identify key prospects
Hours: ~15-25 hours/week
Payment: Unpaid (must be for school credit or experience purposes). Bonus will be considered for excellent work.
