Pete's Candy Store is seeking a non-paid intern interested in Public Relations to support our Nightlife and Editorial PR division. Most work can be done from home. Meetings will happen every two weeks. The position will require 10-12 hours per week. Remember, this is an unpaid position. Motivation and high quality work will likely result in an arrangement for remuneration.

Interns will be responsible for the following:
-Assisting the Talent Booker with Press Releases and getting them to the right sources
-Finding new PR sources. Building an organized press list
-Creating Press releases for specific events
- Create and maintain media lists
-Contacting appropriate media outlets with event listings and press releases
-Helping enhance the blog roll
-Working on community sites such as Facebook, Myspace, and Twitter to gain exposure
-Adding fans, friends and followers to our social networking pages
