A leading New York based boutique Public Relations services firm specializing in luxury lifestyle with a Client roster encompassing restaurant, literary, fashion, film, real estate, retail, hospitality & travel, and nightlife & entertainment industries as well as a number of philanthropies, foundations and charity benefits seeks a full-time Account Executive.
The right candidates should demonstrate the ability to work effectively and accurately in a fast paced environment with a dynamic and positive attitude.

Candidate requirements
• University graduate possessing a minimum of two years relevant work experience in Public Relations
• Proven experience pitching print and on-line media and achieving results
• Team spirited, committed and capable of demonstrating initiative
• Ability to multi-task and deliver quality work to tight deadlines
• Be experienced in communicating with and handling media
• Computer literacy: Essential: Microsoft Windows operating environment, MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel), Cision, Internet, Desirable: Adobe Photoshop.
Specific Duties
• Press release writing and development of Client story themes
• Pitching to print, on-line and television media channels
• Securing placement of messaging with print, on-line and television channels
• Developing print and email advertising copy
• Promoting the business by writing for print, on-line, social media and distributed mailings
• Maintenance of client and media contact databases
• Organize press-to-dates and assure that they are updated and maintained efficiently
• Assisting with event production, principally in New York City and the summer Hamptons season (typically held evenings and at weekends)
