Marketing Drive is seeking a smart, ambitious, energetic, strategic-thinking Senior Account Executive on a high profile national account in our Norwalk, CT office. You should have prior account management experience with a promotion/marketing agency. You will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operational and longer-term planning and will contribute more strategic leadership versus tactical details, as well as managing the creative development process. You will have substantial client contract in this role and will build and maintain various client relationships and foster positive interactions with the agency.
Key areas of responsibility include planning and managing client workflow for national promotions and channel/customer specific programs from initiation to completion and billing, management of the creative process, client management and development of strong client relations, project management, and budget management and development of junior staff.
• Minimum 5+ years marketing and/or promotion agency experience
• Facilitates internal communication and ensures all cross-functional team members understand project parameters and scope of work
• Proactively identifies and formulates solutions to potential project challenges
• Constantly brings new, innovative thinking to the business with strong understanding of digital/ social media
• Continues to strengthen the depth of cross-functional agency relationships
• Adept in development of an annual promotion plan including Objectives and Strategies, Calendar, Budgets
• Team Oriented; Ability to interact and foster positive relationships with all levels of the organization
• Effective manager of people and projects
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Bachelor's degree in Marketing/Advertising, with a solid grasp of the fundamentals
