Digital communications firm seeks an Interactive Producer to be responsible for delivering interactive projects on time to scope and within budget, and managing those projects from initiation through to post-launch project review.
Overview:
• Full responsibility for project profitability, generating relevant reporting on costs & revenue
• Lead, prioritize & organize team while delegating projects and prioritizing tasks and teams as required
• Manage production teams, resources and vendors to ensure delivery at key milestones.
• Ensure all projects are on time, on budget and exceed client expectations
• Actively participating in: - Briefing creative, development and production teams, creating timing plans, budgeting & scoping projects - Review or where necessary create functional designs (wireframes) & functional specification documents for digital deliverables.
Skill/Competencies required:
• Minimum 5 years experience working in an interactive agency environment
• Experience in building complex website, apps, digital advertising
• Familiarity with existing and emerging web technologies
• Experience in wire framing / User story development
• Expert proficiency in Microsoft Office, and Microsoft Project.
• Working understanding of all facets of web development including strategies, design, planning, implementation, and launch
• Experience with product selection and vendor management
• Ability to meet real-time deadlines, set project budgets, and control project quality
• Strong interpersonal, negotiation, and organizational skills
• Ability to work effectively under pressure
• Ability to effectively lead and motivate project teams with experience managing people in complex integrated environments
• Use of knowledge management (wiki) or issue tracking / ticketing tools
• PMI certification a plus
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Able to thrive in a "non-traditional," entrepreneurial environment
• Knowledge of Agile, Prince or other Project Management methodologies
• Tertiary degree or qualifications in the areas of IT, Web Design/Development, Project Management or Communications, highly regarded
